Fall League Registration is Closed and all divisions are full. When information on future leagues is available, it will be posted here at capefearpickleball.org.
Fall League Information
The fall league will take place from September 9th to November 20th. Matches will be played on Monday and Wednesday nights at legion stadium. Registration will begin June 24th. The registration fee is per person. We will not be requiring anyone have a DUPR score to play in the league but we are requiring people who do not have DUPR scores to complete an online assessment.
Divisions
Open Team – This division is geared towards advanced and expert pickleball players. This division is open to all ages and all genders. There will be 12 teams in this division. Players will be chosen via a draft. We will only draft 48 players for this division.
Team Size: 4 members. Only 4 team members play per event.
Format: 6 matches per night, Doubles (4) – Best 2 out 3 games. Singles (2) – one game rally scoring to 21.
Subs: 2 designated alternates. Alternates can only register with 1 team. Alternates can play in another league.

Social Team – This is a competitive self-formed team division for players who have a prearranged team and would like to compete against other teams in the area. There will be 10 teams. Teams will be organized into two groups (A & B) based on overall team skill level. “A” group will be geared toward high intermediate to advanced players. “B” group will be geared toward intermediate players. We will be allowing a pool of free agents to register, but priority will be given to groups of players registering as teams. You can also register as a substitute for no charge if you are a club member.
Team Size: 6 members, each player must play 3 times per night. Each team must have 2 men and 2 women.
Format: 9 matches per night, all matches best 2 out 3 games. (1) Men’s Doubles, (1) Women’s Doubles, (2) Mixed Doubles, (5) Open Doubles
Subs: Shared sub pool.

Location: Legion Stadium, Wednesday Nights
Recreation Team – Geared towards new and beginner pickleball players who are interested in finding more people to play with. Teams will be formed by the league.
Team Size: 6 members per team.
Format: 6 matches per night, all matches best 2 out 3 games. (6) Open Doubles
Subs: Shared sub pool.
