Come Test Drive the Latest Pickleball Paddles at the Midtown YMCA
Come on out on Saturday, June 9th between 8:30am and 12pm and try out some of the latest pickleball paddles available. USPA Ambassador Marty Smith will be at the Midtown Y with pickleball paddles and other related pickleball gear. Find out more »Mid-Town YMCA Pickleball for Parkinson’s Tournament
It will be held August 24th-26th. More information on registration, playing venue (some play might be at the Market Street Y if the construction schedule permits), times, etc. will be forthcoming as it becomes available. Sponsors are NEEDED and greatly appreciated! The proceeds go toward purchasing equipment to assist individuals with Parkinson’s exercise as a way of maintaining their physical selves in the face of this relentless disease.

The City of Wilmington is developing a Parks, Recreation, & Open Space Comprehensive Plan that will guide planning for parks, recreation programs, and facilities for the next 10 years. Drop in to see preliminary recommendations for improvements across the City's park system. The public is invited to drop in anytime between 4 pm - 7 pm.
