We proudly hosts the weekly Free DUPR Ladder League night.
Whether you’re looking to boost your rating or just enjoy some competitive fun, this is your chance to play organized matches and track your progress through DUPR.
This weekly event provides friendly competition without the time, travel, or monetary commitment tournament play. It is also a great way to obtain and maintain a DUPR rating to help understand where you stand against others and to place you properly if you do decide to play in a tournament while at the same time simply getting you games against players around your same skill level.

Answers to your anticipated questions….
Do I need a partner?
No. While this is a doubles competition, you do not need a partner. In fact, who you play with will rotate each match.
What type of format should I expect?
Matches will be round robin play rotating partners each game. Depending on the night, you may have 4, 5, or even 6 people (we try to avoid that) within your group. Once we know the exact number of players showing up, players are assigned to a court and will play a schedule of 3+ games, depending on the number of people in your group. Players turn their scores into the coordinator for that evening which will be recorded in DUPR where your rating will be updated by the system.
Is this a league I have to commit to?
No. While this is a competition which takes place weekly, you can jump in and out of playing whenever you like. You sign up weekly.
What if I can’t make several weeks?
No worries. If you miss a certain number of weeks in a row, your current DUPR rating will still be used when you return. Each week, current DUPR ratings are used to set the match ups.
I’m a 2.5 player, will I be playing against 3.5+ players?
No. Based on who signs up each week, players will be assigned courts based on their DUPR rating. New players will be mixed in appropriately. By doing this, players will always be playing near their level. As you succeed or struggle, your rating will follow and affect who you play the next time you play.
What type of ranking system will be used?
CFPC uses the DUPR rating system. DUPR is used globally for rating players. It uses a formula to calculate player rankings based on wins and losses taking into account your ranking at the time of the match and those of the other players on the court with you.
I already have a DUPR rating. Do I need to do anything special?
Your DUPR rating is based on any and all matches which get entered into the system; not just those from CFPC. If you’re using DUPR in a tournament in Hartford City, IN or with your friends in Castle Hayne, they all get calculated into your DUPR rating. The more games you have the better!
Where will I be able to look at the ratings?
Your DUPR rating can always be seen by signing into your DUPR account which you created as part of the one-time setup step (or your existing one.)
How long will this last for?
This is a recurring event scheduled for every Friday. It will continue indefinitely allowing players flexibility so that they don’t have to commit to playing every single week. By having it as a running/ongoing ranking system, it will allow for people to take weeks off if needed but not be penalized for it. As seen in the past, it may take a break due to winter weather or when our loyal volunteers need a break.
Weather issues and updates?
When weather is uncertain, look for updates by 5pm on the Facebook Event page where you signed up for that week’s play.
